attached resp23.docx Comment about this post: I can recall my first field trip in middle school. Going to bush gardens. I can recall how we had recived the trust from our teachers to roam freely but still had to meet at certain times to assure we are safe. This built a character in all of us that day. We felt free to be us without any supervision. Up to that day every field trip prior had to be walking in straight line or always with a chaperone. I can still recall the sense of shock when hearing from the teacher we will be on our own. That field trip has always remained in my memory. This shows to me now the importance of giving adolescents the liberty at times to be independent. To allow them to be adolescents but in a controlled environment always.

DECISION MAKING Would you flip a coin for the chance of winning two dollars? What if you were given a dollar and offered the chance to flip a coin to either gain a second dollar or lose the first? Which wager seems more appealing—the first or the second? Far more people choose the first wager than the second. Both scenarios have exactly the same probability of outcomes: a 50% chance of ending up with nothing, and a 50% chance of ending up with two dollars. Why might the first wager appeal to people? Do we always make the best possible decision? Impediments are factors that can hinder decision...
