I feel like adolescence is such a stressful and awkward time, and the fact that this is the longest it has ever been in human history is quite concerning. We know adolescence starts with puberty, but pin pointing the end of this stage in life is a little more complex. The speculated markers that can end this time have opinions that vary from the start of menstruation all the way to possibly marriage. Meaning the time of adolescence can be immensely long or quite short depending on when you mark adulthood.

attached resp22.docx Comment about this post: It was interesting to learn in this chapter that there were fewer behavioral issues and higher academic achievements from a two school model. I personally did not mind a three school model, but I didn't experience the two school model. The transition period in between schools no matter the grade or age will still always be a little uncomfortable. For me personally, I think the transition going into high school was a bit more overwhelming.
